The iPod: A Salute

I wanted to shoot photos of something, but what? It was raining. I decided on shooting my iPod with off camera lightening and I told myself I had to come up with 10 strong photos.

these 3 are my favourites. i really like the scratched face. the clarity and simplicity of these are great. the lighting is also excellent. good job of making an effect quite difficult to achieve look easy.

I HATE the iPod with a passion, but those are some damn good shots. I could really see them being in an ad.

Thanks Reg. . . You words lead me to believe you were a past owner of an iPod - is this true? I was a hold out for a long time - but I figured its time for a change of scenery, Got rid of the Canon gear replaced it with Nikon. Bought an iPod and plan to purchase only Macs in the future. One needs to know just what color the grass is over there, otherwise, you'll go mad just looking at it. :D

Thanks Rooz. You know, I hate the fact that most of these were of the back, but that highly reflective service combined with the iPod/Apple logo was just a lot a fun to play around with. After a short while I quickly learned if you light what will be reflected the possibilities are endless. . . I had to stop myself.
