request for driver

hi all new to this forum looks gr8..... was wondering if anyone can help. Hard Drive reformatted.......... have an hp photosmart 318 without a driver for windows xp pro....... cant dl it from the hp site... driverguide doesnt work either so if any1 has the original driver could you plze post it .. The pc is showing that hp c20 is installed ... when plugged in it wont retrieve pictures ...

did b4 the comp guy got a hold of the comp.. dont have the installation cd...

usb & serial hub r working fine.. thanks for your replies

thanks for your reply however, when I dl this zip file and unzipped it. It didnt work at all. Unless there is a certain file in there that I should have opened by itself. Can you help.......really appreciate it..

Sometimes the connection breaks down before downloading is complete resulting in a corrupt file. I suggest you try download again.
If all else fail, buy an inexpensive card reader. I never install any driver from my 3 cameras. WinXP should take care of that. hmmmm........ but you are running WinXP too. :confused:
