Anyone here have a wireless IR remote for their XTi?
Any performance issues/rants/raves about it?
Was thinking of getting a wired remote but curious if people are fans of the wireless one.
I didn't even realize the XTi was compatible with wireless remotes :p

I've got the RC1 for my XT. I haven't used it much. I mostly got it for a family reunion coming up in July, But it does seem to work well,

I have a wired remote for my XTi, but I know people who have the wireless one. All who own one say it works just fine.
The downside of the wireless remote for me is that the receiver for the remote is on the front of the camera, so it will not work when you are looking through the viewfinder (unless you reach around).
So if you want to snap from the front of the cam, then the wireless works well. If you want to use it from behind, then get the wired one.
Or get both!

I bought a generic, cheapo wired remote shutter release off of Ebay for about $5.00 and it works great. The wired one is nice because I am usually behind the camera when using a tripod.
I just use the timer for group shots that include myself.

I have both the wired and wireless remotes. Both seem to work well, but, each for different types of use.

I have one, and works great. The 2 second timer is a good function.
