Canon CB4A-HE Charger and Canon CBK4-200 batteries

Dear All

I own a Canon Powershot A80. Now I need to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger. I was hoping for a Maha one as I remember seeing a link to a test result sheet listing that charger as the top performing one. The feature list look good too. But somehow can't get it on the shops around here.

The store is offering a Canon CB-4AHE along with Canon rechargeable NiMH 2300 mA batteries. Can anybody tell me if it's worth opting for this combination instead of Maha? I don't know about the price tag but I think it might be more expensive than Maha one. Will be able to get the price for Canon charger by tomorrow hopefully.

Your advice/experiences are welcome!

I was looking at a canon charger. (can't remember which one) but it didn't day how long it took to charge the batterries. The maha chargers clearly atvertise the speed at which they charge batterries. Maybe you don't need your batteries charged in 2 hours and can leave them charging overnight but I would prefer to have it over with in the shorter time.
