Between Glenorchy and Hobart. It was a bit of a white wash but good none the less.

High there Griptape,
We don't wear helmets over here, we breed them tough :D just kiddng. 50 meters is about 150ft(I think based on 3 feet to a meter).

It's played on a bigger field - anything up to 500' long (sometimes longer) and 300' wide.
18 players per side on the field at any one time. Two pairs of sticks at each end through which goals are scored, that's pretty much it.
Oh, good job DC. How do you like your new 300/2.8 IS for this sort of work compared to the ole Sigma?

Thanks CW,
As Austin Powers would say "Yeahhhhhh Babyyyyyyyy", this lens is brilliant, the first two were taken with no TC attached and the last two were with the 1.4 TC. I am hanging out to get to the Devils VFL game this saturday and the next round of motorsport on Sunday.

Yeah the super-teles and the 1.4x were made for each other. I used the 1.4 with the 600/4 IS for some shots at Mauka Oval a couple of weeks ago and they were insanely sharp - you really have to look hard to see any difference at all in IQ.

That first shot has fantastic lighting Dave!
The DOF in that last shot is awesome! The players practically jump out of the screen.
