I had purchased PhotoRescue about five years ago to salvage pictures from a corrupted memory card, and have used it on and off as needed over the years. Recently, I accidentally deleted a 200 MB movie file off of my Fuji F10. My old version of PhotoRescue found the deleted file, but would only restore 50.000 MB of it. The size of the restored file looked suspicious, so I e-mailed their technical support to see if 50 MB was a maximum file size programmed into my version of the software. The following incidents transpired:

- I received an e-mail response in under an hour, informing me that 50 MB was indeed a limitiation of my version
- The e-mail described a free demo version that would restore files up to 250 MB
- The free version successfully restored my deleted file

You can't beat support like that.

I received a copy of Photo Rescue Pro with the purchase of an SD ExtremeIII card. I never thought I'd use it but a month or so later I lost all my photos by switching a card between cameras.
Sure enough, Photo Rescue Pro retrived all the shots.
A while later a software glitch lost all the photos I'd downloaded. I'd already formatted the card but I tried retrieval anyway. Amazingly I got everything back!
