Phenix lens on K100D.

Have been using K100D for a week now and buying inexpensive 2nd hand Pentax lenses to add to kit lens[50mmf1.7 mf,80-200mm af] today took delivery of new phenix 24mm F2.8 needs manual focus and aperture ring okd in custom settings.I cant figure exif or displayed shutter speeds but it does sort of work at £22 new.2imgs from today http://www.pbase.com/jascm/image/80751914

would helpp if I understood exif and camera readouts that Phenix lens produces.

You must shoot in M or Av I believe for a lens with no "A" position on the aperture ring. I had an old P 300 that did not allow display of the shutter speed correctly.
