If it's the first roll through, I'd go something cheap just to make sure the camera works. If you shoot people give this stuff a try for good rendition of skin tones. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/396043-GREY/Fujifilm_15473666_Pro_160C_135_36_Fujicolor.html
Kodak has a similiar pro film as well.

I used to love to push HP5 to ISO1600 when we called it grain, not noise.
HP5 used to be my favorite as well.
Cool FSU SLR. I'm looking to get a Zorki 4 or 4K to use for B&W film myself.

I used to love "grain" in some of my shots. Now that it's called "noise" it loses its appeal somehow! Funny how that works:p
