Me 2!! I just got my K10D and I found about 6 dead pixels! Mine are red and blue ones. Should I return the camera and get another? Anyone knows what's Pentax's policy on dead pixels?

I had a k100d before with 5 dead pixels.I returned it, but i had it from black market.Usually Pentax wouldn't change the camera as much as i know.I regret now i havent bought Samsung GX10. I don't know if i would confront with the same problem.

Cx, how did you found dead pixels in your camera? Now I am not so sure not about mine, as the first time I thought it was dead pixels, it was from a shot in a near complete dark room. That picture had more than 10 seemingly dead pixels!! But then when I took another shot later with the lens cap on, there is no dead pixels. I think those pixels shown up on the first shot are caused by "banding". I had read on some site saying the K10D had some banding problems, when taking pictures in dark areas and especially with high ISO setting. I'll keep trying to experiment with it and see.
