Had to get new SD card for the D80, and decided to upgrade to the 4 GIG SDHC card! Works great in my Nikon, however my computer's internal card reader will not recognize. Do a little net searching and find the SDHC cards won't work in SD readers.
Search newegg and find a few internal readers, but reviews are spotty. I really do not want to hook up the USB cable every time, or get one of the plug into USB port card readers.
So anyone out there have good luck with internal SDHC card readers? Brand, price, where purchased...
Thanks, D.

My USB cable was free and included in the box...works for me.
What's wrong with it?
The less I have to pull my SD card out and stick it in something else, the longer it will last. It sees almost no wear and tear sitting in my camera 24/7.

Yes, I understand and agree with the USB cable option. It's just that after popping my 2 GIG card out of camera and into the internal card reader...then copying files (much faster by the way)...then popping card out (without having to disconnect drive)...well, it's much faster overall.
I'm all about convenience and speed. Yes, I can hook up my USB cable and download pics, but why not try and get the internal reader.
Guess I will just have to wait until the technology catches up to where I want to be :)

It shouldn't be any faster, your reader still has to go through USB...?

Hmmmm, maybe because I have so many USB hubs daisy-chained together...but the internal drive is still much faster.
