Canon S410: Shutter Speed Question

All,

The specs of this camera say that it has a shutter speed setting of 1/2000 of a second. My question is in what mode and how do I set the camera to this shutter speed?

I have turned off the long shutter mode and set the quick shot mode to on, but when I try to take pictures of my son at his BBall game all i get is a blurr?

Can anyone help?

You don't. Unfortunately there's no way to force a fast shutter speed. I think I complained about this in my review, but that was a while ago.
