I've got it narrowed down, I think. This is my first digital camera so it's all a little confusing. I have a film version Cannon Rebel which I love other than it's not easily carried around.

My experience with digital cameras has only been to take pictures for other people. I don't really care for them due to the delay between pushing the shutter button and the digital camera actually taking the picture. Drives me nuts because you usually don't get what you were trying to shoot. Anyone with kids should be able to relate. I wouldn't be typing this but the wife is driving me nuts about getting a digital camera.

I've read enough that I think I want either the SD200, SD300, A95 or the Fuji E550. Well I really want a digital SLR but $$$$. I know the SD200 and SD300 are the same other that MP's. I looking for input in helping me pick which one is the best choice. Battery and memory choices also a concern.

Usage for mostly point and shoot of family, vacation, etc. I don't know that I need to do the high end stuff with digital since I still have the Rebel.
