Friendly visitor in the Front Yard

This little guy stopped by for a brief visit while I was out doing lawn work. He stayed around long enough for me to run in get the camera and snap off 2 shots. This is the only one that was keepable. Thought I would share

I'm thinking thats what he was after but i'm not sure. He was on a light pole and when I got there with my camera he dropped down a few feet in front of me dug around for a sec. and took off empty handed. Although I do hope he catches some because they're taking over the yard
