I decided to update my website. This is what I've done so far (the first page): www.sagephotoworld.com. I moved my discusson forum and might just axe it since all it attracts these days is crud from spammers. Now that I' doing a wedding today I figured I'd set it up more towrd pro photography than just a discussion forum. What do you think?

All coding of the website is done with Open Office. I don't think enough of the internet to want to waste money on payng to get somebody else to make a website or to want to waste money on software that makes webpages (badly).

Just for starters, two misspellings in the last sentence of the front page: "publicity" and "organizations". I'm not sure, but in don't think traveling has two "L"s.

Also, if this is going to be your pro photo site, I would suggest you put more about your photography and skip the back story. You can always add a link that gives your full history.

That and put a picture on the front page. It's a photo site for pete's sake. Something that says, hey this guy's a good photographer, let's look inside.

Sorry, that was a bit harsh. I'm just trying to be helpful.

Travelling does have two "L"s and organisation is with an "S" for everyone who's not American:D. British spelling "travelling, organisation" American spelling "traveling, organization" But publicity was spelled wrong. LOL!

I viewed your page info. I would put in more geographical information in your keywords meta tag (columbia, south carolina etc) and change the description tag to a sentence rather than a list of keywords.

I'm not really sure what metatags etc are. I use my webhosts html software. I used to have Front Page Express and Mozilla's version but they don't provide them any more. I did try Open Office but in the end the webhosts software worked better. I have tried other stuff bt it's too coplicated. If I can't understand it and code a simple page within 5 minutes, I chuck the software in the recycle bin.
