First, love my DSLR and wouldn't trade for nothing. Take it wherever I can. This summer taking fishing trip to Canada and I do a lot of hunting in the fall. Don't really want to risk dripping the DSLR in the river/lake, so looked for a small, inexpensive point-n-shoot. Convinced the Mrs. that I could sell the old Sony DSC-P10 on ebay to help offset the price of new point-n-shoot. So here's how it went down.

All original documentation

Final auction price...are you ready for this...$152.50!

Went out and got me Canon A560 for $161.50, before tax. By the time you add in tax and take out ebay fees I probably upgraded for $20-25.

I'm thinking that was a smoking deal. Thoughts...

Selling old digital cameras on eBay is a great way to rid yourself of older technology.

Last year I sold my old Olympus digital camera with the 256 MB of extinct SmartMedia memory cards for more than my new Canon Powershot with 2 GB of SD cards cost. The Olympus (+ memory) sold for $150 and the Canon (+ memory) cost $145.
