Help! - I used my computer to change some images from vertical to horizontal on my cameras SD card directly. Now my camera says unable to display. Is there anyway of getting my MinoltaDiMage XT to read them again? I want to burn a DVD from my camera directly to my DVD burner.
Thank you!
Cindy

I have had the same problem. Once you rotate the image on your computer, if it copies that image back onto your memory card, the camera may not recognize it. If you have a card reader, you might try to rotate the image back the way it was when you took it (I'm assuming in the portrait orientation rather than landscape), and then copy it to the card. If this doesn't work, yu will probably have to copy it to the DVD from your computer's hard drive rather than from the camera.

To avoid this problem, whenever I copy images from my camera to the computer (actually, I rarely hook up my camera to the computer--I use the card reader instead), as soon as the copy is complete, I remove the card reader from the USB slot. Then I know I have pristine, unadulterated images on the card just the way they were when I took them. It's only after I have done whatever processing I want to the images on the computer, and I have them exactly the way that I want them that I delete them from the card.

Thank you - I think I have learned my lesson. The only way I can copy images to my DVD Player is through the camera (its a DVD player for the TV) - I guess I should have just burned my pictures sideways and all.
Thanks again!
