help please re: sd cards

Hi, Im new here and new to digital photography and need a bit of help....my camera has a sd card slot and states it is for a 128mb card could you use a 256 mb card or will that sort of stuff my camera up?

I think SD cards are all the same physical size so I don't see why you can't use any memory size, 128, 256, 512, etc. What camera is it? It's odd if it states the slot is for 128mb. Any mb or gb size should work. I don't think it will "stuff a camera up".

Your camera (you didn't say which you have) probably has a limitation at 2G due to the filesystem addressing used, but anything up to that should be good.
