Best camera for landscape lighting night photos

I'm shooting a series of night photos of properties with landscape lighting. I've been using a medium format film camera and want to go digital. With film, I shoot at sunset and usually shoot 60 second exposures at f16 or f11. It's really tricky getting detail out of the shadows while not overexposing lit areas.

I want the maximum megapixels, the least amount of noise and capability to do long exposures. I have a budget of about $1,200.

From looking at the reviews, I'm leaning towards the Nikon D70, Canon EOS 20D or Sony DSC-F707.

Any suggestions? :confused:
