Copying large file from Camera 2 PC

Hi guys,

I own the Canon SD 600.
When trying to copy large movie file from Camera 2 PC it won't copy, even that the light on the camera is blinking, 10 min. & nothing copied.

OK, the file is 312 MB ...

Any suggestion other than wait & wait ...

I already charged the battery ..

I bought a small memory card reader from Frys for $6.00 which works fine. It fits into a USB slot, and accepts SD, Compact Flash, and Smart Media cards. Your PC should recognize it as a separate hard drive ("Device With Removable Storage"). You can then play, move or copy your video, or you can edit/condense it in Windows Movie Maker with very little quality loss.
