I am trying to decide between two digital cameras. The Fuji FinePix S5100 which is 4 MP camera and the Canon S1 IS which is 3.2 MP camera. They both have 10x Optical Zoom. I will be using this camera for taking pictures of my kids basketball games, vacations, parties etc. Any Suggestions or experiences with either?
After reading some reviews last night should I consider the Panasonic DMC F23, FZ15 or FZ10K ?
thanks,
rw

And yes you should definately consider the Panasonic offerings, for many reasons, not the least of which involves a better lens and use of SD memory cards vs. xD for the Fuji. The Canon does have a better movie mode.
for future reference: You will usually get a quicker answer on the Fuji board (this is the Fuji dSLR board) as none of the cameras you are asking about are dSLR's. ;)
Please make sure that you erase this post if you re-post on the correct Fuji board.
