preserve EXIF data

Is it possible to retain the EXIF data after editing with Photoshop? I edited some photos yesterday and most of the shooting info was lost except for those like shutter speed and aperture value. Others like ISO speed were gone.

How are you saving them? Photoshop does not normally strip EXIF data.

I edited my photos and then replace the old file with the new edited photo.

Are you doing Save/Save As or Save for Web?

Choose "save as..." and your Exif data should remain intact. Also, if you edit your picture and then copy and paste it to a new window it will be stripped of all Exif data when you try to save it.
