Well, I've done hours of research, much of it on this site (thanks DCR!). I'm upgrading from a 3 yr old Sony Cybershot (a DSC-P50 i believe). I've outgrown and need better quality and more manual control. I looked over larger cameras but I wanted the camera to be small enough to take anywhere with me comfortably. I also looked for features that would give me more control and let me experiment more with photos so I knocked out some of the lower end simple "point and shoot" cameras. My primary use for this will be artstic photography and digital usage for a variety of things (I'm a Multimedia Design major). So, I've narrowed it down to the Sony DSC-W1, DSC-P150, and Powershot S70. I'm sort of leaning towards a Sony because I enjoy their image quality, but I'm open to any and all suggestions. I'm also considering the Panasonic FX7. Any experiences or recommendations (among these or others) would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased the P150 after previously owning the T1. I really struggled between the s70 and the p150. The size, styling, and overall ease of use convinced me to choose it. The P150 has reasonable manual controls and a great lense on it.
