I'm not buying this for myself. I'm buying it for my sister.

I'm given a list of things she wants for her camera and thought maybe someone could help me out.

She wants a digital camera with a good "optical" zoom, around 7 megapixels, with a screen on the back and a viewfinder. The viewfinder is the really important part to her. Preferably kind of small purse sized.

I kinda need it around $140-$175. I'm sure I can scootch by with less megapixels, but she's being annoying about both a screen AND a viewfinder. I can find either/or, but not both. Can you help me out?

Look at the Canon A series (A570IS, A710IS). They are in your price range (sort of) and offer both a viewfinder and a screen.

Another option would be a Canon Elph (SD600,SD700, etc.). The SD600 is likely within your price range...

Screen and viewfinder limits you to mostly Canon. A550 or A560 are probable the closest to your price range.
