Hi there,
This is my first post on this forum, so I hope someone has not already asked this question (I did have a search to find any threads). If they have could someone be so kind as to point me in the direction of it please.
Anyways, here's my question:
I am considering buying the Canon EOS 400D, but I have heard some bad things about the lens that comes with the kit (18 - 55 mm F3.5 - 5.6 Mk II EF-S lens). I therefore am looking for a good alternative for the lense that isn't going to cost me a fortune, so I can just buy the body and put the money I save towards a better lense. I would be very gratefull for any helpful advice on an affordable alternative.
Also..
My knowledge of lenses is limited, I have read in several places that the Canon EF50mm f/1.8 lense is a good buy and after seeing some results with this lense I intend to buy that. I would also appreciate people's opinions on which lenses to buy as a good base for my new kit.
Thanks for your time,
Any advice much appreciated!
