Why? Cuz I can. :p

The best part is, I got 'em both for well under the cost of a new Mark II N!
1D Mark II = $2215
1D Mark I = $750
vs.
1D Mark II N = $3390

I am sure it says its not allowed somewhere in the trems of use.
Fortunately I didn't read those trems. :D :p
Unfortunately I don't have the glass to back it up. These are just bodies, which come & go like a fart in a high wind. Glass is what's truly impressive....and CW can humble us all. :o

If that were the case I'd go out and buy one of each of the L's tomorrow. Unfortuneately its' talent not glass that is humbling- and I continue to be humbled by far more than just CW on these forums.

I feel the same way... I wish there were more inspiring things to shoot here... I mean there is, but I'm so busy with work I can't really drive out too far... and the weather's been so cold and overcast lately :(
I'm dying to get my Alienbee unit outside and shooting some hotties already :p

Glass is humbling too and you know it. We all desire to have that stuff, whether we need it or not. It's humbling and jealousy-inducing to see it lined up in someone else's kitchen but not our own. ;)
But what's even MORE humbling is seeing others produce excellent images with equipment far inferior to what we have.

I'd rather shoot people than anything else around here. It's a seriously boring place, no matter how you slice it.

It's not how much L glass you have in your kitchen but how much L glass you can fit in your kitchen that matters;)
These images were taken pre-DSLR sickness and ceiling painting.
