close ups taken with 70-200 & wides taken with 10-22 (mostly at 22 & 200) I had a great time... other then the fact that it was COLD AS HELL!!!

They never asked to look in my bag, walked up with camera in hand, 10-22 mounted! I think it was because it was the very first game.

I forgot the 2x in the car.... not very happy with myself. anyway I think I got some good shots... def. need a 300 f/2.8. will upload more in the A.M.

C&C welcome..... be nice, its only a 200 :)

thanks

Tim

Nice shots. I'm looking forward to shooting some Appy league games pretty soon(Appalachain league, Rookie ball). I'll have 70-200 IS and Canon 1.4X in hand.

Tim you got some great shots!

I don't know what surprises me more, still seeing motion blur on the baseball being pitched when you shot at such a fast shutter speed or the fact that Nikon dude is carrying his big white lens without a back cap on it.

Where you shooting from the field or just good seats?

This guy looks a lot like Dale Earnhardt in this shot.

Thanks Rich

When I uploaded the pics to the computer that was the first thing that I noticed... what was that guy thinking. lets just hope that he DIDN'T know the cap was gone.

We were setting in the area that they call the party patio. They designated that area for the different trades that were involved with building the stadium. I walked right down to the field for most of the pics, that put me inline with third base.

I would stand at the bottom of the stairs most fo the time.

I see heaps of pros doing this.

Great effort for the shots!

Yeah cuz it's seldom their own gear. Some people don't appreciate and therefore take care of things that weren't paid for out of their own pocket.

NewTekBuzz, I am curious, are you an animator, amiga guy, or do you have no clue what I'm talking about?

Cool, if you ever regain interest you might want to check out Blender.
