Your thoughts? We have the E-500 and are seriously considering upgrading to the 510 as we already have a few Zuiko lenses and like the system!

I'm looking into the E510 also. How do you like your E500? I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks of it!

500 is a bit behind now
the 510 comes with liveview, as another viewing aid
a dust shaker, so you dont have to worry about dust
and in body IS, to assist shooting at very low speeds
also the high iso performance is a different world from 500

i love my 500 BUT i was a bit disappointed that it did not have IS. i'm looking forward to the new features of the 510 though not sure how much i'll use the live view, as i've become so accustomed to using the viewfinder.

i think the new features of the 510 will far surpass the 500.


just wondering how it'll compare to the nikon or an XTI
