Will one be able to achieve similar shots (in magnification) to the once mentioned at the below link, with the Canon 100mm f/2.8?

In addition, is there any other lens that will offer MORE magnification?

I don't really have any experience shooting insects but these look like they are about 1:1 and may have even been shot with the Canon 100mm 2.8 macro (a fantastic lens). On a few shots you can tell that a ring light macro flash was used because you can see it reflecting in the eyes. I think it gives a nice effect though.

Almost forgot... yes, there is the Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5X Macro Lens that will give you lots more magnification... at a cost.
