dpp 3.0 is an improvement over 2.x I highly recommend it.

I've downloaded it and looked around, but haven't really used it yet. I usually use ACR.

DPP 3.0 has reduced my workflow significantly.

Big improvement has been the full "Tool" availability in the main window.

Previously I had to either:
a) Change one image and then save as a recipe to apply to many. OK if you want ALL the parameters the same (ie; brightness, WB, contrast, PS etc), Crap if you had already done some brightness edits and only wanted to apply a new PS for example (as it changed everything).
b) Go into edit page and change each image individually.

Also you can now assign NR to an image (or many images at once) rather than having to change during the process stage. Great for weddings when I am changing my ISO a lot. I can now just assign an NR setting to each image (or a group) and run the batch process in one hit. Before I would have to select only those images with the same NR setting and do multiple batches.

A thumbs up from me. :)

I may give it a try to see if I like it and the results any better. Although, my CS3 with the supposedly new & improved ACR is pre-ordered and due to ship 4/17 :D . I used the beta of CS3 for a while and liked it although it had a few bugs that are hopefully worked out in the release.

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SupportDetailAct&fcategoryid=215&modelid=10464 and then click on Drivers/Software in the Downloads section which should bring up another window that will have it.
