I agree, very nice portrait! I would suggest editing the right hand the same as the face, though. I find myself drifting over to the hand because it doesnt have the same "painted" effect the face does. Just my opinion, I am sure others would dissagree.

i gotta be honest with you, they're really not to my taste either...but i definitely learned a new appreciation for this type of editing.

btw, both were shot with solid white backgrounds, both cut out and put on fake black backgrounds, which you can tell in the 2nd more than the first.

thanks alot tim, yea i like trying new stuff. i usually hate overprocessed pictures, but somehow didn't bother me with these. i guess it's the overprocessed on accident shots i hate.
