D80 w/18-70mm DX or w/18-135mm DX Pictures

Im looking a purchasing the the Nikon D80 but undecided with the lens.

Anyone with these lenses or similar lens post some pictures please.

i think everyone will be willing to help you with questions, but you may want to do a quick search on the forum for similar questions. there have been alot of these lately. you cn also do a seach on flickr for the lens choice you are after.

Cut a long story short (as i had the same dilemma), go with the 18-70. Its a slightly better lens, which is optically better (less distortions etc). However, if you want the extra zoom, thats another problem :-)

Also - check out the Sigma 17 - 70, it's a good macro lens as well and has a max apperture of F2.8.
I compared loads of images on the same lenses as you mentioned, decided I liked the look of the images with the Sigma
