D80 and shooting at 3fps

Dear all. I dont think my D80 is shooting at 3fps. I shoot HDR a bit and shoot RAW. I am sure it is supposed to shoot 3fps and i have a sandisk Extreme card in there (so its write speeds are not a problem). Anyone know what settings i should be changing?

Found the culprit. The "long exposure noise reduction" was turned on which delays write times by 1.5-2 times. Only useful for exposures for longer than 8s! so turn it off if you are not using it.
