You're not getting ashamed of all the "Sigma trash" you are using, are you? ;)

I think I'll change my signature too :)

Dang! I already sold my Sigma "trash". Guess that exludes me from this clique.

I know many of you here already know but for the new members that might see this thread, Sigma is NOT trash, they make very good lenses and in a few ranges, are comparible to Nikon glass.

You can always consider a Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM and/or Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro "trash" lenses to belong to the "trash" on Nikon owners club :D ;)

Trash talk from the 150mm macro on D200:
"The performance figures are excellent and leave really nothing to be desired across all tested quality characteristics. The mechanical build quality is very good thanks to a metal body and a true IF (internal focusing) design with a constant physical length. The AF speed is about average in absolute terms but pretty good for a macro lens. Thanks to Sigma's HSM (Hypersonic-Motor) the AF operates virtually silent."

More trash talk about the 10-20mm on a D200:
"The Sigma AF 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX HSM DC showed a good though not stellar performance on the Nikon D200. The vignetting and distortions are quite comparable to the rest of the gang but the border resolution, specifically towards the long end of the zoom range, leaves a little to be desired compared to its direct competitors. This is a bit unfortunate because the center resolution is exceptional at all focal lengths. However, the Sigma also offers a little extra kick regarding its widest setting (10mm vs 12mm of the Nikkor or Tokina) and things are simply getting more difficult the wider you try to go in terms of lens design. Lateral CAs are generally well controlled except in the extreme corners of the image field. The build quality is very good and the AF is both fast and virtually silent."

I decided to display my trash again. Thanks for the comments!
:)

Funny what I consider my worst lens is Nikon, my 18-135. I also sold a Nikon 18-70 because I felt my Sigma 17-70 (Trash) out performed it. If I could afford Nikon Pro Glass I'm sure I would not have so much Sigma (Trash), but I just checked my numbers and I did not hit the lottery again....:)
