A friend (complete newbie, likes to take P&S pix, but is not computer savvy) brought his camera to dinner tonight and asked me if it was a decent one. It had I believe, a 12x zoom, 6 MP, so I took a few flash pix across the table to see how it would respond.
Everything I took was blurred, so I guess my question if anyone has some ideas is, is it possible to find a camera around $100 that is VERY user friendly and has IS? He'll use it to take family photos and some vacation pix - just informal shooting.
He won't be doing any 8x10's, so I think IS might be more of a priority than resolution.
Thanks for any help to pass along...I usually recommend Canon, Sony, Olympus, etc. but couldn't find a model at that price...this one was a Polaroid, which he can return.
