s3is vs g7

hello
first sorry for my English .
i decided to change my old camera a powershot a60 it was good but now its kind of old and slowwwww
so i looked and i almost made my choice but i can't decide between the g7 and the s3is both look great .
i'm not a pro i just take picture of my trip and for fun
please help
and wath do you think of the website 6ave.com they very cheap

It depends on what sort of pictures you want to take, and what you want to do with them.

The S3 has a longer zoom lens (to over 400mm equiv), and also a fold out LCD, which can be useful.

The G7 has more pixels, so will give better quality on big prints (over 10x8"). It's also a bit smaller and lighter.

basic photo of my vacation and trip i m not a pro i m just a basic user
so the g7 just lose the 12x zoom ??
