Lol. that'll be the body - no battery, no body cap, no memory battery, no charger and probably not even a box. Then they'll hit you for extras and you'll end up paying more than anywhere else.

Client of mine is a professional photographer. She said she purchased 2 of those from that site because she doesn't trust her assistants to use her 20d/30d.

But it says "This price INCLUDES Rechargeable Battery and Charger" but maybe they just aren't the Right Batteries or the Right Charger. Gosh if only stuff like this existed. :)

No offense, but I really don't understand how people can be dumb enough to buy from sites like this....it has a 0.44/10 rating!!! Seriously, an XTi for $299!! If something looks too good to be true, it probably is!!!! Buying from a site without researching it is simply idiotic.

Last night on Dateline they had a show on online scammers that convince people to give up thousands of dollars because they are promised they will be paid millions in return....who is dumb enough to waste their time reading these emails, never mind sending people they don't even know thousands of dollars? In my opinion, people get what they deserve.

Yeah, sadly, I was considering a purchase from this site. But honestly, there is so much corruption and fraud that you can get away with online that you should do your research beforehand. Check out the website posted and read some of the horror stories about the seller. Just reading through a couple completely changed my mind, and I feel bad for anyone who has gotten screwed through unethical business practices such as this.

One of my wife's acquaintances works for the FBI and was telling me all about the people he deals with that fall for those scams. I too saw the programme. It was hugely entertaining that the TV company actually paid for that reporter and his team to follow down such a well-known scam.

Every now and then I am invited to conduct fraud by the e-con artists. They ask me to pose as some dead guy's brother which is where I stop reading as that's 100% illegal. I don't loan people money nor pay upfront fees for anything without being absolutely certain of what I'm getting. The 419 scammers are just so obviously dishonest. It's like a guy in a pub coming up to you saying "psst... wanna buy some racing tips" or like some scruffy tart saying "$10. I'll do anything. We have to go down there though" while indicating a dark, narrow alleyway with suspicious guys hanging around the end.
