First of all, my F20 makes extremely loud focusing noises. I had a Panasonic TZ1 and, this thing is like mechanical grinding!
Second, the amount of noise is insane. Take a look at these ISO1600 pic:

No flash, room lighting. Is that normal looking (Are my expectations for these cameras too high? I guess reviews didn't really shoot too much high ISO in low lighting...) I looked at some review sites for the F20 and many F30 reviews... and they look MUCH better at ISO 1600! What gives?
Any input appreciated!
Also, there doesn't seem to be a mode to disable the image preview. I only see 1.5 Seconds, 3 seconds, and Continuos (zoom). The Continuous Zoom gives me a funky zoomed in preview... which I don't get at all.
