I am currently looking at purchasing a digital camera as my old samsung is rubbish.
I have seen some mixed reviews here from people who are happy with their camera or got a bad apple and use it as a paper weight now.
Before I order my Canon Powershot S1 IS is there anything I should know? It is in my price range 230 GBP and it has everything I need in a camera for that price. Are there any other cameras out there that I might be missing out on? I know about the Panasonics and such but the prices seem to be much higher than I am willing to pay right now.
Does a person really need a 10x zoom or am I just smoking crack? Will 3x be enough or are there any 5-7x that I should know about. I am new to this and I have read the forums but after spending so much time reading the same reviews and forums I am getting no where fast. Thanks for the help.
