You do not actually need any software to download the pictures from the camera. I use Windows explorer exclusively for moving pictures files around. I have created a file called photographs with many subdirectories on my hard drive and download to the correct subdirectory. You can create more subdirectories on the fly as needed. I also have a shortcut on the desktop for easy access to the photographs file folder. Many things can be done with the mouse and its buttons. If you find you need somesort of editer you can download Picasa off the web, it's free.

I looked at my CD, and thought maybe I could Email them to you, but they are too large.......Are you sure you could not do what you want with Picasa or irfanview both available free.
Panasonic guards this software like it's any good which it is not.
Sorry I can not help.

Hi guys, I have the same problem... I bought my camera when I was in Japan lol, the camera menu I could make English, but the software, can someone please look at their English software, is there an option to change the Language? If so, which buttons do you have to click? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Genece, unfortunately, the only way to print the age info onto the Baby Mode pictures is to use Lumix or PhotoFun Studio.
Not to mention, ArcSoft isn't Adobe, but its not terrible. I'd rather have SilkyPix, but hey, I'm not going to complain.
As far as the programs are concerned, they are designed for idiot-proofing, aka, you don't get any options. You are stuck with Japanese (better grab a translation dictionary  ;) )

I am not sure why only one program can do that...but then I do not install the Lumix software....so I am not sure of how it works...... if anyone is interested , I could try putting the files on an online file storage like Megaupload.....and you can get it there......let me know if there is any interest in that.
I have never done that, but it seems it may work....or if you know of one that does work.

If you call Panasonic and explain this situation to them they might help. Offer to send the Japanese disk to them that way you would be swapping license for license. I have heard of people getting replacements for broken DVD's that way so it may work in this situation as well.
