Why does the F30 and F31 have ISO 3200 and the F40 only has ISO 2000?


How is the ISO 3200 on the F30/31 anyways?

The F40 is not an update to the F30 but to the F20, which had top-end ISOs of 2000. The 3200 ISO will allow a bit more low-light options, but it's pretty much unusable for anything but sending a snapshot by email.
