for not submitting any pics for the potn book thingy. alot of the ones donated are only ok, i expected better and didn't think i'd have any chance at all. then again, i guess you're giving up rights to the photo huh? oh well.

did any of y'all submit any photos?

Nah...didn't submit any either.

You still maintain the rights, just arn't getting paid for the volume distribution. Could have been some nice exposure, but is anyone else besides POTN members going to be interested in purchasing??

I thought about it but didn't really get any motivation to do so. If I do something like that then I'll produce a calender and do it from beginning (the photos), design, printing and marketing all on my own.

LOL- I hear you. There were some great shots submitted but I feel that in a few categories I had shots that were better than the min. number submitted. O well- there is always next year.

I'm happy to see POTN putting the book together. Damn as Canon owners we are light years behind what the Nikonians are doing. From their monthly newsletter to their podcasts. Definately a much tighter community.

Could that be because...Canon cameras are better and more fun to use and therefore "Canonians" have less time to do things like that? :D ;)

I submitted one in Performing arts, it's #5 in that section... I'm kinda supprised it's even in the running considering all the talent in that section...
