had a friend over to try out some rembrandt lighting on. he's an amateur bodybuilder and is actually in his "fat" stage where he bulks up before cutting it all off for the shows. anyway. i'll post some more up tomorrow, i'm going to bed now.

Nice work Adam. These are really good. :)

For a slight variation, with your same lighting setups place your 42" silver reflector in front of your subject to splash a little light on the face/torso and you're good to go. (BTW - I could take that guy in a fight. Oh, and then I woke up... :o )

peter that reflector is awesome. not only does it reflect light, but it scares the crap out of everyone when i pop it out! and it's huge, i didn't pay any attention when it said 42".

anyway, here's a few more. i'm starting to get good at getting rid of hot spots now. i've been duplicating the layer, using the patch tool and clone to get rid of them completely, then i take the opacity down until they come back just enough to look natural.

I think I like the drama of the first set best. :)
