Well me and my soon to be wife decided on Fuji. We found this s9100 good price and good reviews, We just got it in the mail yesterday. My first ok camera was the cannon powershot A75. nothing fancy. We got the s9100 for our wedding this year which is in august. So far i am happy with the results. I am wondering if anyone has had any time with th s9000 or s9100 since they are both about the same.

This thing has more options than i can shack a stick at :)
Im new to the more indetail pitures, all these settings, ive been through the manual 3 times lol still trying to understand it all.

Would love to hear anyones reviews on it any tips tricks tut's also.

Thanks guys

I've had two of the near latest Canon Powershot Pro's but now I'm going Fuji after experiencing the Fuji S7000 which a professional photographer picked for her Father. Last Saturday I took some shots with the S7000 and fell in love!

In two days I'll have the Fuji S9100 after doing much reading/reviews etc..
Seems everyone hates what Cnet had to say in summary of the S9100 claiming preference to Nikon and Canon brands.

I've just also ordered 8 Maha 2700mAh AA rechargeable batteries. I have a bunch of older 1800mAh's.

What I'm curious about however is the CF Card. Both my Canon's use a 1GB micro drive. I just saw that Seagate has an 8GB CF size micro drive for $149. It spins 3600 rpms so I wondered if it was as fast as these 80X, 120X, or 150X flash cards? Any thoughts here?

lol. just had my s9600 for two weeks now and i still carry the manual everywhere i go even without the camera. try reading the wikipedia on photography 101 and hope you will understand your camera functions better. My only problem now is what model for external flash to used. hope someone can recommend.

not bad at all, I just brought s9600 for half a month, and more than 1000 shots already, my feeling is the color of the pics is perfect if in slide setting, the shortcoming is not so good performance in continuous shooting and the memory speed of xd card is unexpecting.

wow, nice shot page915. i'm going to a graduation ceremony this Sunday and i'm going to take lots of pictures. the venue is indoor and any ideas how to set my cam properly? right now i don't have the external flash. do i set the iso to 400 to have a brighter picture but sacrificing the image quality?

Page You Said In Your First Post That The Camera Is Good On Slide Setting. What Do You Mean By Slide Settings? Btw We Have The Same Camera Model And I'm Practicing It To Get The Fullest Potential Of This Camera. And How Do You Attach Image On This Forum? Need Help Badly.
