IN last October I went for a beach holidays and when I was about to leave I saw a huge dead Whale on the sea shore. At that time I had Olympus camera with some common facilities but I tried my best to take snaps of this giant whale lying dead on the beach. Its tail was missing sadly so might have died due to a collision with a ship,a wild guess.Such shots are rare imo so putting up here in our fuji forum for viewing.

I bet it was sad to be near the dead whale.

I don't live by the ocean. I've never seen a whale. So when I look at your pics, I don't recognize anything. Which end is the head? Is there any part that is exposed? Thanks for sharing.

Indeed it was one of my sadest moment of my life when I saw this king of Ocean lying there helplessly and without any honor of being a king of Ocean.
Well head part is facing the sea and tail which was missing is towards the land area, hope you got me.
