View Full Version : Avatars?
Is there a chance for a small avatar to be allowed, say, 50x50?
Not uploaded, just linked from elsewhere, that way you shant loose any space.
Or will this be intended to be mostly text-only? =)

I never saw the point of avatars so I didn't turn that feature on. If there's enough demand maybe I'll do it.

Well, avatars really don't have the point, but from personal experience i can tell you that users on forums are so boring by default that you have to turn on avatars before or later :)...

Any way I can prevent smilies from displaying in messages I read (not post)? The excessive cuteness of these graphics is enough to just about gag me.

Andy, you're too young to be a curmudgeon, but rejecting smilies might be the first step down the slippery slope...
I say turn them on. This is a digital photography related forum after all.
So make them have to be custom. 100x100, 35k limit. No cartoon annoying stuff.
just my $0.02
