Photo Rotation for S6000

I have been using Windows XP to download my photos thru a SanDisk reader. I have tried to rotate some pics but it won't let me do it. I checked to see if the files where locked (protected) on the camerra and they are not.

Is there some other setting that I missed or should I be using some other software to download my photos?

RAW or Jpg?
Either should be able to be rotated in finepix viewer. If your just using an app under winxp then the RAW files might not work. you should be able to rotate a jpg in any photo app.

Photos are all jpeg. Even the Fuji software won't allow any rotations.

Not sure what to tell you then. I would check to make sure they are not write protected and if that's not the case then I would try downloading straight from the camera and see if there's a difference.
