Hello,
I am an intermediate film photographer and I recently made the jump to digital when I purchased a refurbished A80 on Ebay for $200. However, I asked the seller to hold off on sending it because I had some second thoughts. I am considering getting the A75 instead for about $150 on Amazon. Please give me some advice- I have to make a decision very soon....

Some of my concerns are:
1. The A80's LCD is only 1.5" vs. 1.8" on the A75.
2. The A80 that I bought was made in China, not Japan.
3. The A80 apparently has a long shutter lag time.
4. The A80 comes with a 90 day warranty vs. 1 year with the A75.
5. The A75's sensor is smaller than the A80 and the A80 is 4 MP.

What should I do? Go with the refurbished A80 or go for the newer A75 or A85. HELP!! Thanks so much.

The A80 is the best of those three.

I don't think it matters if the LCD is a bit smaller, it is the end picture that counts. A larger LCD drains the batteries faster anyway. You've got it back to front about the sensors, a larger sensor is typically better than a smaller one.
