I am new to digital photography and have a Sony DSC-S500.
How do I set up the camera so it "takes" an exposure when I want?
Is there no such thing as simply hitting the shutter button and getting
the shot I want right then and there? It seems as if the button (or some
thing else) "hangs up." Yes, I know the half-down position permits sensing
for exprosure and focus, but can I circumvent some or all of that when
I want? Many, many thanks.
