I am not shure where to put this but if its in the wong place plz move it to the correct place. Which of the 3 are the best to work whith over all

Basically each type of file is good in it's own way.
Raw file are the best for quality, they will allow you to virtually take the picture again. By using a photo editor (such as photoshop) you can change the brightness, contrass etc. etc. of the picture, and loose almost not quality. The negative is that Raw files are not compressed therefore they are very large. For a 8MP camera a raw file will be about 16MB.

JPEG's are great because you can take a large amount of pictures, (8MP camera will create JPEG files about 4MB in size) The negative to JPEG's is that they are not as easily edited because the image has been compressed to be 1/4 of the size it should be.

This all depends on the type of shot you are taking, if you have a shot that is a once in a lifetime shot, you want to shoot in RAW, if it is everyday shooting, where the light is perfect then you can shoot in JPEG and take a lot more images. It is completely up to you. Do a google search and you can find a lot more about the formats.

Well I have googled it alot but not much info on it most of my shots are once in a life time And I have a 1gb card so size doesnt matter all to much unstill I get it on my computer :D
