I have been using digital cameras for years, but recently I have been presented with a task that I cannot figure out. We send people out into the field to take pictures, but these pictures are considered 'sensitive information'. For this reason, I need to find a way to make the memory write only, so I or my staff can be the only ones to upload them, not the field photographers. The company is worried that the field photographers will have the potential to upload the photographs and publish 'sensitive info' on the net. Any ideas??
Thanks,
K

The only thing I can think up is something like the nikon wireless transmitter tied to a laptop you give them that has been locked down so you can't write anything out of it. Would be quite expensive though.

Disable the output jacks and lock the card door so it can not be opened. Not sure if locking down the camera will help.
What is to stop them from using their own camera to get the "sensitive information" and take the company photos?

Seriously, unless you strip search your employees, there's not much that can be done. Hire people you can trust, make sure they sign agreements. And know who was where with what opportunities to take pictures.

I agree 100%. Who can prevent these employees from bringing their own digital cameras to take their own photos after they have taken photos with your organization's cameras?
